It was that great thinker Einstein who said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

For instance, how do we alter our minds and thoughts to bring this new mindset into fruition without having to memorize the countless steps inside of all those books?
The Law of Attraction theory is almost the same as being on a diet. If you’re overweight, you feel uncomfortable and realize the only way to feel better and more confident about yourself is to lose weight.
The same can be said for your mind. You have a lot of negativity that affects your happiness and keeps you from getting the things you want from life.
Think of negativity as calories. The more you have the unhealthier you are and forever will be.
Your mind needs to go on a kind of diet. Think of it this way. If you treat your mind as you would your body, would you keep feeding it with stuff that will make you even more unhealthy?
All those books on weight loss are the same as all those books on manifesting. We try one out and if that doesn’t work, we try another. It’s a massive money earner for those writing and selling those books!
But, the reality is, if you eat less and exercise more, you will lose the weight needed to make you happy. It’s as simple as that.
It’s the same with manifesting. Rid yourself of the negativity (calories) and jump on the treadmill of positivity. Think (eat) less negativity and produce more positivity (exercise).
It’s a simple formula…and it works.
Manifesting | A Diet Theory
The problem is, and this is going to sound weird, we overthink the whole process of manifesting. I know you’re supposed to be in a mindset that rejects negativity, but sometimes that’s easier said than done. Just like looking at that cream cake and thinking “one won’t hurt’
Well, it will. There goes a whole heap of calories adding to your fat build up.
Just like a negative thought or action will build up your barriers to achieving a better life.
But the temptation is sometimes too great. Just like our mindset, it’s often too easy to just ‘not be bothered’ to do something that would, ultimately, reward us later.
That’s why we struggle to lose weight and struggle to make the Law of Attraction work for us.

It’s often a case of weakness within ourselves to actually do something that can benefit us.
Are You a Negative or Positive Person?
Some of us relish negativity. Just like that cream cake, it gives us a short blast of inner happiness, but the bigger picture is of failure.
Have you ever watched a TV quiz show and been gleeful that the contestant got the million dollar question wrong? If you can relate to this, it’s because of jealousy. You think that if that person had answered correctly and won the jackpot, he was just lucky or in the right place at the right time.
No. That contestant wanted to win a bunch of money, so what he did was initially watch the program, see an opportunity to win cash, applied to be on the show, waited, then got the chance to appear and have a real possibility to change his life.
He applied himself to manifest the chance of winning the money. He was in the mindset of Can-Do, he was optimistic and he was positive in his actions.
He didn’t just miraculously appear, he took action.
When you feel happy he lost, that is your mindset wanting someone else to feel the bitterness and disappointment you feel when you can’t get what you want.
It’s a relationary victim mindset. “I know how you feel, buddy, rotten isn’t it, ha-ha”? There’s a certain feel good factor that you can relate to and it makes you feel better that he lost.
When he wins, and it makes you angry, that is your mindset feeling like a victim of life. “Why did he have to win…that should have been me!”
